Default Everything’s free at Walmart

I’m pretty moderate. Can someone explain why a mayor would blame Walmart for moving the F out of these neighborhoods that prefer to have “everything’s free” days.
Not sure who is more to blame. Obviously the criminals doing
It, the media who tells them they have no chance in America or the politicians that do the same and give them plenty of excuses and insist
If you can’t keep a a freaking Walmart in your hood, you might have a culture problem.

Ya thinks maybe Biden and da mayors can stop Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Whole Foods et alia from leaving by threatening an excess profits tax if they flee the hood?

I would say it's their accountants and insurers.
