After their Chicago debacle, the Steelers are now standing for the Anthem. KC has been one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL. Great tradition. Pittsburgh’s not far behind. I think both teams owners have told the coaches and players to stand.

they have one Marcus Peters and the Steelers Chiefs game is one that could have gone easily as a lost for the Steelers and Oakland had help from the officials

But it didn’t. They beat the Chiefs in their house. They’re 8/3 against the Chiefs since 2000 and 23/11 alltime. Just a bad matchup for KC. The Steelers suck against NE. They kept the Steelers out of a few Super Bowls.

Who? The Steelers were. I’m not ragging on the Chiefs. I’m actually a fan. The first Super Bowl was on my birthday. Packers and Chiefs. I’ve followed them ever since. Fred Williamson, the “hammer” was a cocky DB for the Chiefs. He actually played for the Steelers prior to the Chiefs, anyway, he bragged that he was going to knock out GBs receivers with his karate move. The Packers knocked him out of the game. But the Chiefs have a great history. Lenny Dawson is one of the classiest guys ever to play the game. As cool as the Pink Panther at QB. Kinda like Joe Montana. A former Steeler too. Hank Stram was an innovative and colorful coach. The first to be miked at the SB. “65 toss power trap, it’s going to break wide open fellas!” It did. Mike Garret scored untouched. Otis Taylor was a big, graceful receiver. Fred Arbanas was a big, tough TE. Bobby Bell, Willy Lanier and Jim Lynch were one of the best trio of Linebackers ever. Buck Buchanan was a huge man and a great player. Emmit Thomas a really good corner. The Chiefs and Dolphins played in an epic playoff game. Ed Podolak had a tremendous game that day. Elmo Wright invented the TD dance. Jan Stenerud was the first kicker inducted into the NFL HOF. Tony Gonzales will be a first ballot HOFer. And Derrick Thomas might have been the best OLB in history. What a tragedy. This is just off the top of my head. I might have missed a few. Anyways, for whatever reason, they don’t have much luck against the Steelers.

I have not watched a game this year.
Come playoff time, I will probably be back. But for now, let em kneel. I won't be watching.

More and more people are feeling that way as the weeks go by. Pretty sad, really.

It was great to watch the 70 Steelers. Their best team, 1976, didn’t win the SB. They had to play Oakland without Harris and Blier who were injured in their blowout of Baltimore. I was at that game. It was bittersweet. Even though they had some really good teams after the 70’s, to me, it just wasn’t the same.

It’s was really hard to see the Kneelers beat the Oilers on a blown call.

That’s been debunked you stupid pig. The Oilers folded like lawn chairs after that Call. They went backwards and kicked a field goal. They had over a quarter to come back and win but the Steelers stomped them. Like they always did PIGLER. They held Earl Campbell to 15yrds on 17 attempts. But the Steelers ALWAYS shut Campbell and the Oilers down. Houston has never sniffed the Super Bowl and they won’t this year you stupid fucking pig.
