Why do so many ladies have tattoos all over their body?

The reason I ask is because that kind of thinking is some old man from the baby boomer generation type stuff.


For what it's worth I am covered in tattoos and I make well over $250k a year and no I do not strip at truck stops thank you very much.

Definitely a generational thing, and I'm from the generation that associates them with bikers and sailors, lol.

But I've gotten to where I don't notice them so much. I'll read a report on someone saying that she's got one here and there, and I'm like, hell, that just didn't register with me.

I get a chuckle when I'm reading a review, and someone says she's got a few but not distracting. I imagine that's code for they distracted the hell out of me.

There have been a few times that I've noticed and it killed the mood for me a bit. But that's just brain interference. Mr. Happy wants his jollies, and he doesn't really give a shit about a little ink.

It used to be cool to have tattoos. But with all these hipster millennials getting them, they have lost their outsider feel. I wear long sleeves now so I'm not associated with that crowd.

I know, right? I went to one of my regulars, and she had her hair up in a top bun. Very hipster like, and maybe even a bit stereotypical.

But I didn't want to be an asshole and say something stupid, so I let it slide. Had an awesome time all the same. Youth is for trying out new things, and some of them work better than others.

I had always wanted a tattoo but never had a true reason to get one but after losing two of my children I couldn't think of a more special reason.
I have a few on my back and neck under my hair line and they will always have very deep and special meaning to me...
