Lightbulb Christmas Cheer - Making a Difference

Just in case

If you’re feeling generous this holiday season - you can help local Dfw families in need of even basic items. Our local school adopts a few families every year. We get sizes & specific items each person has asked for, wrap them, & deliver them the week before Christmas.

I’m not asking for personal handouts here, I’m not begging for help for me. This is simply for the benefit of others. For mother’s & children without fathers. Of course, you can always donate to toys for tots, and that is Awesome in itself!
We also prepare food baskets - holiday dinner items are needed.

Our deadline is this Friday Dec 15th. at 3p (since I have to get them to school before 4p)
If you would like to help, please contact me & I can fill you in on the details.
And, if you wanna donate money, I can do the shopping & gift wrapping.

Anyone who wants to suggest that I’m keeping donations for myself - go right ahead & shove your foot in your mouth - or just keep going further down your throat so you can choke your dumbass into submission lol ! Anyone who knows me, knows that my heart is Huge when it comes to giving. And I personally donate a Lot, in many different ways.

Bottom line - it feels good to help others - that’s Why We Are Here - to Help Others...(without taking credit for it btw)

Any questions- pm or text me. 214-534-3668

🎁🤘Merry Christmas Everyone🙏🏻 🎄

PS - if there is cash left over, that I was unable to use for shopping - I would love that stash some cash into the gifts for the parent. She will think it’s just a pair of slippers or a sweater....but then opens it & finds a rolled up hundred inside!!! Can you imagine the Joy??!! Heck she can get something else for her kids that she wouldn’t have been able to otherwise! Or help to pay a utility bill! It’s just a thought, maybe it can happen, maybe not?
I will probably do the same thing with candy in the kids gifts too

Our family has adopted another family for years. It was first stated by my Dad over 25 years ago. One thing that he did that has stuck with me forever ---- as we would be leaving the family's home my Dad would shake hands with the father and hand give him a $100 bill unseen by the rest of the family. When I asked him about it he said "Don't ever leave a family without giving the man of the house some money to help him keep his dignity" Good idea to give some of that money to the Mom of the house if that is what you are doing -- the idea is the same. Leave them with a little dignity where they can provide something for their family on their own.

Good Luck on your donations.
