Verified provider?

Usually I trust my own research but I am going to try the lazy route here to answer my question? What is it requirement to be a "verified" provider for ECCIE? The stings and other issues are rampant and the need for good information grows daily, for hobbyist and provider.

For the record I'm not a trail blazer in needing to be the first to see a new provider. This has led to really only one time I would consider I originally TOFTT, and it was a highly rated provider. Later I found out the YMMV issue that surfaced, too late for me unfortunately.

It would be nice if somewhere on the verified providers profile it indicated on whose say-so verification was granted, so you could exercise a bit of informed judgement there. But it is what it is.

Pretty much, "verified provider" status here means that, at the time of verification the provider being verified is legit (i.e., not a cash-and-dash artist, blatant upseller, or working for LEO). It's by no means a "seal of approval" as to quality of experience, and, obviously, just because a provider is legit now doesn't mean she will remain legit years into the future.
