Default Best Movie of 2017 goes to??

What is your favorite movie of 2017?

Or will it be the Last Jedi?

And go!

Mine was Logan. Blade Runner maybe a tie.

Liked 1st John Wick, thought 2nd was too repetitive. Chop, chop, kick, shoot in head, repeat 50 times. The nerf was WAY better!

I first saw it when it was released in 1971 at the theater that used to be in North Star Mall. It's motorcycle documentary classic by Bruce Brown, featuring Steve McQueen, Malcolm Smith, and Mert Lawwill. I need to watch it again soon!

Saw Darkest Hour last night. Not sure it will snag best film, but Gary Oldman's portayal of Churchill is phenomenal. Were it up to me, he'd get the Oscar for best actor in a leading role.

I had my Yamaha ported at Malcolm Smith's shop in Riverside, Calif. Those were the days of dirty, greasy shops.. hell you could eat off the floor at his shop. I saw it about the same time in Hollywood someplace.

The movie was a step above Phantom Menace. That's not saying much.

both of the these recent star wars movies were just lack luster for me. They dont really do the series justice at all, but simply try to steal major themes from the older movies. In the Last Jedi they just completely lost me, on what they did with Luke, and Snoke. If they are the Masters, why dont they fucking act like it. And are weaker than some EMO kid with parent issues.
