There have been a number of agents who over the years believed in the philosophies and attitudes of J.Edgar Hoover, who was known, among other things, to utilize his "office" to facilitate politicians "interests" in their adversaries. Look at the number of people that surrounded Trump that are confessed or convicted felons and others awaiting trial, and possibly the Trump clan facing indictment. Trump promised to drain the swamp and bring in the brightest and best. I believe that has been a failure. The DOJ SP has a whole bunch of stuff in his suspense file, mostly with the name of Trump clan members. So the head of the snake has lost his cohorts.
