Default Sandy Hook families sue school and town

Apparently not everyone thinks that gun manufacturer who made the weapon stolen by Adam Lanza is responsible for the deaths of all those children (adults died as well but no one seems to ever mention them). These families are suing the school for a reported $15,000. This does not make up for their loss but it does demonstrate where they think the blame really belongs. Read the story to find the particulars.

So they aren't suing the gun manufacturers?

Yes. And I bet it isn't for $15,000.

JDIdiot, you're an imbecile. "Where blame belongs?" Complete buffoon.

There are now two groups of parents (and there may be crossovers from both groups), one group IS suing the manufacturers and the other group is suing the school and town. The weapons in question were stolen from the lawful owner after her murder. They were locked up and everything that the gun grabber crowd demands. How far do you think that lawsuit will go against the manufacturers? The other group is saying that the school said we will put in place rules and safeguards to protect your children. Those safeguards were inadequate. Could anything else have been reasonably done to protect those children (armed security, armed teachers, bullet proof glass, secure doors, lockable doors on the classrooms) then the the school is to blame.

Since you can't very well deal with every idiot that is out there you have to go to where the targets are and secure the position. The school is to blame and so is the town. The shooter bears the responsibility for what he did but the authorities have to accept that they failed to deliver on their promises, implied and otherwise.
