I saw that; sad. Zimbabwe is a beautiful naturally rich country. It is in this situation because of the political leadership....a lesson for the U S of A.

Zimbabwe used to be relatively prosperous, at least by African standards, when they were called Rhodesia. Then the natives overthrough the Europeans; its been a shithole ever since. They went from being the bread basket of Africa to not being able to feed themselves.

Any of you been to South Africa in the past couple of years. I was there in 2009, and it'd not quite what you "hear" about on our News Outlets.

Unlike Mugabe in Zimbabwe, the Government knew that there were multitudes of Caucasions whose famillies had been in South Africa for years, and were just as "African" as any Black Man. Rather than seizing property and handing it over to incompetant Blacks, they embraced the Whites as fellow Countryman, and the result is a thriving middle class Country where there is very little racial tension, especially when compared to the USA.

Is that in Zimbabwe dollars or US dollars? A few years back I was in a class for international politics and I presented a project on Zimbabwe. It took some doing but I was able to give each person in the class their own 100 million dollar bill ($100,000,000) as a momento.
