Let's just follow procedures.
Well what else was expected.

Don't discourage the efforts to impeach Trump. Please.

Unfortunately, the SocialistLiberalAntiTrumpers sanitized the schools and public libraries of copies of the book about ....

... and they erroneously blamed the results of 2016 on the "Russians" or anyone else, but their own stupidity.

Look at the loons this go around ..... here was the leader of the pack .....

McConnell is a strange bird.

usually, when your opponents tar you with a negative label, you run away from it, in some cases mount a weak defense against the claim. In this case, you let the opponent define you. McConnell on the other hand embraces the negative label. He has a bunch of nicknames the opponents have bestowned him on and embraced with gutso. turtle, Grim Reaper, Moscow Mitch, C$c$$n$ Mitch and etc....

I agree with the Trump admin. position, that they need not respond to subpoenas until and unless a formal vote for an impeachment inquiry occurs.

I expect a formal vote soon, the votes are there.. holding it up just delays the process and makes it look like the Dems are not being fair.

The Dems aren't being fair. That's why the country is divided in every way. The Dems have been conjuring up every plan imaginable to oust Trump from office. These people are absolutely disgusting and don't deserve any respect or support for what they have done to this country for the past three years.

My understanding is they are NOT subpoenas. They are worded like them and the Dims are representing them as such. But the are not. They are simply letters of requests.

are you saying the Democrats have enough just based on the Ukraine issue and this IRS issue or are they going to wait for the next 337 more whilstleblowers they are lining up to come forward?

I think they have the votes, for a focused inquiry around the Ukraine issue.. I don't know what IRS issue you post about.

demand letters will be ignored, why bother with those? get real subpoena's after a vote. anything short of that will be a bogged down process that goes nowhere.

The IRS issue is the supposed third whistle blower which begins to bring Pence into questioning as well as Trump.

As for the vote, I think you are right that if push came to shove they have the votes to declare a formal inquiry. They are just afraid to do it because that opens up all those channels to the Republican members of the committees to begin to ask questions. They still can't afford that and don't seem to have conclusive evidence to impeach.

An actual impeachment vote at this point buries them.
