A basket of deplorables who still matter are worthy of love, forgiveness and have a path towards salvation.
This cuts both ways and we should be mindful of that... especially those of us of faith who are trying abd often failing in following Jesus' example and find ourselves posting on a hooker board.
How we react to insults, perceived insults or sleights speak more about us than anyone else. Today isn't about us. And it's not a day to condemn, or be small or petty or intolerant. It's a day to celebrate.
