Default Inquiries and Impeachment of Trump

. The Wall Street Journal has reported that during a single phone call in July, Trump made “about eight” demands for Zelensky to work with his lawyer, Rudolph Giuliani, to investigate Biden, though Trump did not mention the aid during the call. The Post reported that while there was no explicit quid pro quo during the call, that conversation is part of a broader set of facts included in the whistleblower complaint. According to the Post, a “Ukrainian official this year said he had no evidence of wrongdoing by Mr. Biden or his son, Hunter Biden.”

The facts here still need to be fleshed out, but the gist is easy enough to understand. Trump allegedly has demanded that Ukraine launch an investigation into Biden if it wants to receive the military aid that has already been promised. If true, this conduct would be a classic abuse of power that is considered criminal when committed by a public official.

What Trump did is what a President should do. First of all Trump didn't make any demands nor did he break the law or violate the constitution. What Trump did was make inquires to the Ukrainian President about why an American who is in the Public eye was making illegal transactions and Obstructing Justice in a foreign investigation. That's what Trump did.

this is spin. the Prosecutor was removed because he WAS NOT investigating corruption.

and by the way, you guys keep saying Trump held up the Ukraine money because Europe wasn't doing enough, but Trump is exonerated because he did release the money later.

but nobody has ever said what prompted Trump to release the cash he had been holding up.. why did he release it?

Because Senator Portman told him it was essential after his trip to the Ukraine. Trump released it a day later.

No, what trump did was Abuse the Power of the President of the United States.
And once again colluded with foreign countries to aid in his 2020 campaign. But this time the trump campaign has initiated the contact and was pressing a foreign power to prosecute his political opponent. This is unlawful, not to mention pure chicken shit.

There's a sworn statement from the prosecutor that pointedly refutes your 'understanding' of what was going on.

The Ukrainians are on record as stating that they never knew the money had been stalled, and Trump is on record as reiterating his concern that NATO Allies weren't doing enough and that the U.S. is overburdened with this aid.

Rest assured that Trump released the money before the Ukrainians even knew it had be stalled.

Trump released after he got word of a whistleblower...

https://www.lawfareblog.com/timeline...kraine-scandal
Sept. 9, 2019: The ICIG sends a letter to Schiff and Nunes, alerting them to the existence of an “urgent” and “credible” whistleblower complaint. The letter discloses that, despite the ICIG’s assessment, Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Joseph Maguire does not believe he is required to transmit the complaint to Congress.
Sept. 10, 2019: Schiff requests the whistleblower complaint from the acting DNI.
Sept. 11, 2019: TheTrump administration releases the previously withheld $250 in military assistance to Ukraine, reports Politico.

Nope. He released it in September. And Zelenskiy considered investing Burisma before the call.

Riddle me this...Why has Pompeo lied about his involvement in the phone call and now admits he was on the phone? It’s a cover up!

You can’t understand riddles. Pompeo never said he wasn’t on the call. He said he hadn’t read the whistle blower complaint yet.

No dummy he didn't abuse his power. Biden abused his power as VP by threatening the Ukrainian Government.
