the more he hangs on, the more embarrassing it becomes

he should leave us with remembrances of the gentle gaffs and small intrusions of personal space and body for which he is known

but, sadly, it will only get worse

and now the investigation of his corruption will soon begin and he wont have the protectors hellary or obama had or have

he'll be the latter day louis "lepke" buchalter, the only big mobster ever to get the chair

Hilarious,
Why did he even think to show up on Bloombergs home turf.
NYC Dims will go 99% Bloom worship, regardless of whom AOC supports.
Speaking of which, AOC is toast on her turf unless she switches.

i went to a breakfast last week where michelle caruso-cabrera was the speaker, she of cnbc fame

she spoke about china and other things, but along the way, she dropped a few small praises for president trump, which I found refreshing

anyway, this week, michelle filed to run against aoc in the dim primary for that congressional seat - here's hoping!

This is a solid Democratic district. It is certainly possible AOC is challenged in a primary and loses but whoever the Democratic candidate is will win.

Bloomberg is better suited to take on Trump.

I hope he picks Amy as his running mate.

She is a perfect counter to Pence.

Bloomberg has the money and analytics to smack Trump around.

I think best economy ever will be challenged by these trillion dollar deficits.

Sleepy Joe looked like weekend at Bernie's....and to think Trump quid pro quo Ukraine to take Joe out when all he had to do was let Joe speak.

I agree.. Bloomberg is the best hope to defeat Trump, and Amy is a great sidekick. and yeah, Trump wasted his quid pro quo on Sleepy Joe!

it's even worse than that. not voting at all is bad enough, (low turnout is the Dem's worst nightmare) i've heard writers speculate that up to half of Bernie supporters will vote for Trump. a large faction did vote for Trump last election. probably just to spite the hag for screwing over Bernie.

seems like an counter intuitive thing for a pack of uber liberal socialist wannabe's to do given you can't find two more diametrically opposed candidates than Trump and Sanders if you tried yeah?

despite what ecky9.5k says the bulk of the Democratic base are moderates not far leftists. what is a "progressive" these days? a liberal as always but that doesn't mean they are socialists. Bernie winning the nomination is a disaster for the DNC and they know it. it will split the democratic base (already has actually) and even so-called "Never-Trumpers" won't vote for that commie old goat to spite Trump under the threat that it might actually get Bernie elected. but since the "Never-Trumpers" were never as large as the press tried to make them out to be and have mostly fallen away given none of the doom and gloom predictions about a Trump presidency came true if you put Bernie up against Trump those "Never-Trumpers"will undergo a "republican epiphany" moment and come back into the fold .. en masse. even if that block is 15% it's still a huge uplift to Trump.

independents they say are the largest block of all. supposedly larger than even registered Democrats. they aren't going to vote for Bernie in large numbers either. so Bernie is the worst case candidate for the DNC. it's a bit early to write off Corn Poop Biden and fauxahauntus but their day is coming soon. i expect them both to be done after Super Tuesday. there won't be enough unclaimed delegates left for either to get the nomination. even this "super delegate" concept can't save them by then.

as i've said here before the DNC race this year is making the RNC scrum in 2016 to succeed Obama look like a Sunday school class taught by Jimmy Carter. i was right and it looks like it'll get worse before it gets better. which means the DNC is headed into the black hole of a brokered convention, unless someone emerges to break away from the pack. that's is certainly possible. even after a contentious convention whoever wins could galvanize the base .. or not. depends on who it is. in general both parties do begin to coalesce after the conventions and proof of this is Trump experienced such a movement, yeah even Evil Lord Trump! bahaaa

this year that won't happen for the RNC as it typically isn't needed for an incumbent. at least in modern political history. Trump is running for re-election unopposed by other Republicans. forget Bill Weld, he's a candidate in name only. a classic example of "token resistance" lol. besides, it's clear Trump's base is already galvanized by this lame impeachment sham.

so who can rally the Democratic base? Not Bernie! Bloomie? maybe .. but it seems the powers that be are aligning against him as the liberal media is dragging out everything he ever did and labeling him a racist over it in any way they can, like this "stop and frisk" thing. he was, by the way, right about that and it worked. Now he's beingvilified for it. for actually reducing violent crime. bahhaaaa. strange. and certainly not what you'd think he needs to be the "grand uniter" he envisioned when he finally jumped in. Klobuchar? i don't see it. while she appears more moderate than than either Bernie of buttplug who is a closet socialist who just hasn't come out yet bhaaaa she can't guarantee to draw large support from mostly Republican and independent female voters and it's no sure thing she can even rally the female democrats behind her. blacks are extremely homophobic so Buttplug is toxic to them. and did i mention he's a closet socialist? i did. once he starts in with all this "let's fuck up the economy with free shit by taxing those nasty million and billionaires" his true colors will be known. all of this is the ultimate nightmare for the Democrats. not one candidate not even Bloomie seems to be able to unite the base.

even in the context of an all out convention war i don't see she who will not be named (Hillary .. there i OUTED her lol) won't be able to ride in and save the day. in fact she's go down like the Titanic against Trump again as even more of her mountainous pile of crap is emerging by the day. of course you won't hear about it because she's not running .. yet. but if she does it will be a shit storm of bad press even the largely liberal media can't cover up. other than her extreme arrogance (she's even more arrogant than Trump!) what makes her think she'd win after what happened in 2016? nothing.

too early to say no one will/can unite the Democrat Base. Bloomberg hasn't even debated yet, nor entered a Primary/Caucus. the negative ads will slow.. Trump tweeted Bloomy was racist, then withdrew it quickly, when he saw himself in Bloomberg's policy.. and his vocal support that has been played everywhere.

come April, the Democrats will unite behind someone.. Bloomberg, I think. still a lot of time (and money) before November.

TWK - thoughtful!
She who must not be named (H....) is still eyeing the debacle of Fascist DPST Party cannibalism and planning a go at the convention. She is the most arrogant candidate - even more so than bernie!
She will not be able to resist what she will see as an opportunity for nomination in 2020!

I do not think Bloomie can overcome the LSM socialist dominance, his monetary status, and his height. Mini-Mike will be shot down by the "populists" candidates as too rich and for "buying" the election - fact is he won't overcome his 5'2" height.

So as of this writing I'm looking at the RealClearPolitics polls.

Biden first in South Carolina
Biden second in Nevada
Biden first in Texas
Biden second in California

How? On the recent few TV appearances he looks terrible. Can't speak. Almost embarrassing. And he's about to drop out of the race? And he was polling this high in IA and NH before his fourth place finishes?

Incredible. Even with favorable polling methodology it's not explainable. It's rigged.
