Romney and Flake are Republicans.

Trump and many of his supporters are RINO's. A number including Trump used to be Democrats. They don't believe in free trade. Some have attitudes towards blacks more befitting southern Democrats of the 1960's than the party of Lincoln. They don't care much about the national debt. Their motto is "Spend Baby, Spend."

You can argue whether the USA should have ever been in Vietnam or Iraq. But the people who volunteered to go were more often than not young Republicans. They were patriotic. They were willing to give their lives for their country. Now some RINO's think so little of the lives of their fellow Americans that they can't be bothered to wear a mask and, if a vaccine becomes available, will decline to get it. A few would put a bullet through the head of any "government agent" who comes knocking on their doors to tell them they might have a potentially deadly disease.

Could you see Trump standing at the Brandenburg Gate back in 1987, saying "Mr. Gorbachev, Tear down this wall." Could you see him even bringing up the subject of Uighurs, Kurds, or thousands assassinated by police to Xi, Erdogan or Duterte?

And, unfortunately, the Democratic Party is even worse. It doesn't look like the real Republicans are going to regain power for a long time, if ever. This country is fucked.

“If you think you are beaten, you are
If you think you dare not, you don't,
If you like to win, but you think you can't
It is almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost
For out of the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!”

That's honestly a great post, an antidote to negativity, which a lot of people are suffering from right now, including me.

A vote for DemLib is a vote for pandering to OBLM, racism against whites, and a breakdown into violence and marxist revolution.

which is precisely what the DemLibs are fomenting and trying to accomplish. They set the stage for violence and marxist revolution. And teh War will be damaging.

One thing they do not account for - many americans - and most in Middle america - will fight for the freedoms DemLibs wish to cast away in favor of Marxist autocracy - and have access to arms.

That access to arms, and likely the refusal of the american military to participate in a Marxist revolution against the people of America - will be their downfall.

Armed resistance is the answer to Marxist LibDems - and I , for one, will die fighting rather than submit.

and consider the end of my life in such a fashion as well spent!

and a fitting end to the Marxism of the LibDem party!

I stand corrected. They are all pretty much indistinguishable from each other at this point.

Thank u - HF.

Although, the mayor and Council fo seattle will pass a resolution to delete all history negative to their socialist narrative , and enforce their PC police state Once the riots and lootings settle down for a moment.

They are just using the OBLM movement (also led by marxists) to foment revolution.

I suggest all not interested in living under a 1984 regime: arm yourselves - civil war is coming.

I have had enough. I’m not giving them the benefit of the doubt. These people hate our country, they hate freedom, they hate you, they hate me and they hate the President of the United States. What do they love? Groupthink, marxism, ANTIFA, lawlessness & abolishing police.

Never have truer words been spoken!

AGAIN! we are left to vote for the lesser of two bad choices ( consolidating lots of general opinions).

Trump is a bad choice if all you care about is his personality and you just can't have a president who presents himself this way even if you agree with every policy he is trying to put in place?

The proof of my theory that most if not all the people that voted for Trump while concerned about his personality and propensity for saying stupid things, voted for him anyway because he wasn't Hillary Clinton and would push for completely different things than she would.

Now, the very same thing is being said about Biden "I'm going to vote for Biden even though he says stupid things, can't remember what he wants to say or where he is and has no personality but I'm going to vote for him anyway because he isn't Trump".

Not a dimes bit of difference in how most of us decide who we will be voting for, we are all using the same formula.

Tiny - thank you sir - when you posted recently "you were done" - a rough approximation - not a perfect quote - I wondered if you would be back.

One of the few liberals ( or at least-Left of me - which isn't difficult) who posts reasonable, logical , well thought out posts.

I have learned from Tiny - and pray your presence continues on this forum, good Sir!

Liberal? If you define Liberal as someone who agrees with Adam Smith, Thomas Jefferson, or Friedrich Hayek, then yeah, I'm a Liberal. You can put Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher into the same category. They were Classical Liberals too.
