Maduro is propped up by his military. Without their support - He is gone
Question is- how much longer will the military chiefs support him
Guaido hsa declared for the interim Presidency, and a number of South american countries have supported him
Trump recognized him as the legitimate government - prompting Maduro to order US diplomats out of the country - a move Guadio reversed.

Unless the military deserts Maduro - I fear that civil war will break out in Venezuela
And medling Putin "warns the US to stay out of Venezuela"
I hope trump and Congress remember the Monroe Dcotrine
Yet I hope we do not intervene militarily in Venezuela - that is a losing game
They must play out the fate of their own country.

BTW - where are all the DPST snowflakes supporting Maduro and his worker's Paradise?????
Perhaps Penn and Glover would like to invest their fortunes in Venezuela oil!!
As a contrarian - this is actually a good time to do so- If one can handle the long term - years - for return

IBH - thank You - good point
Socialism is about the Nomenklatura profiting at the expense of the peoples they pretend to serve, but are in office to enslave.

n
Trump will cede Venezuela to Russia.

Why do you think all these private talks?

He has given them Syria , Turkey is turning their way now Venezuela.

It seems neither capitalism or socialism are going to be the winners it seems to be Dictators and their oligarchs.

Disagree with framing the argument as capitalism v socialism
It is freedom v govt . enslavement.
Dictators use socialism as doctrine/religion to fool and enslave their peoples.

Maduro, Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and Kim are prime examples.

You forgot Castro in Cuba where the Cuban people voted him into power.

was socialism what killed the beast, plus all the stealing by the good at heart socialists

never mind they had to keep bribing the generals and all the army men and the courts and all the court jesters to stay on their side

not a drop in the price of "oul"

under socialism its difficult to even keep the oil pumping
