the upshot of this article is that due to demographic changes on the west coast, republicans there are essentially castrated politically like the Louisiana republicans were from 1878 to 2009.

I listened the other day to an immigrated California blonde rant about how fucked up Texas is and why we don't get our shit together like California?

Before they get a Texas ID or DL they should be subjected to extensive re-orientation and to retrofitting with a brain. East-coast carpetbaggers are bad enough, but West-coast flakes should have a bounty on them ... along with the coyotes.

Texans are still paying for their default utility bills from the last "downturn" ... ala the Texas Utility Commission rate increases to Reliant.
