What is the rality of he mortality rate for the coronavirus -19 - Trump is likely correct that 3.4% is far too high.

1- many people - perhaps twice the number disagnosed at least - can have asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic infections - remain undiagnosed - and double or triple at least the number of affected individuals which dilutes the mortality rate.

2- China numbers are completely untrustworthy - they reflect the Communist party reaction - which is to cover up and deny, and later to hide the facts and reality of what went on in China.

3- more recent reports - for example on the Princess quarantined liner - indicate a lower mortality rate - and confined to those over 70.

4- Numbers in the US are small - of diagnosed cases - and will take time to establish a cohort large enough to establish a true mortality rate.

5- this infection looks more and more as a virus acting like an "Influenza" infection - with similar - if not lower - mortality rates. We don't panic over influenza - and coronavirus 19 is likely not the "end of the World"! Time and further research will tell.
6- meanwhile - the CDC and pharma corps are working on studies of vaccines and anti-viral treatment regimens for those with severe'moderate disease who would benefit from treatment. Most healthy aduls with mild or asymptomatic disease do not need specific anti-viral therapy - just the normal anti-influenza virus pre-cautions.

7- was hands with soap and water - alcohol is not as effective. Stay home when ill. Call your doctor's office and relay One's concerns prior to a visit so as not to infect a waiting room.

I can't say I disagree about anything here. but the landscape won't improve if Republicans continue to refuse that ANYTHING Trump says or does might be wrong. that is what I see on this Forum.. Waco posted that the other day, he has not observed a single thing wrong about Trump at any time. other posters reveal the same belief with their posting stance.
