so everyone finds this hobby at a different age. I am curious at what age both men and women discovered this hobby and started participating in it.

A poll with a response that could be seen as an admission a prostitute was turning tricks or a member was gaining services staff edit B3 on this board? In this day, age and as careful as the site is trying to be to not get crossways with the feds?

I'd agree with Whispers on this one for the most part.

Also, from a research perspective (from someone who does a lot of academic research), the poll is flawed in design - because there are too many age ranges and I can guess there is no way to see the differences between start ages of females and males. I can hypothesize that the under 24 grouping is mostly women and the older age groups are mostly men. So the poll doesn't really tell you much.

well hun, as we all know, there is no way to set the poll up with male and female being polled separately. I agree that would be revealing and interesting but the site does not offer anyway to do that. while I agree some young women start sooner and most older responses are men, not all follow that pattern. I started at 52 and whispers started as a 20 yo. just thought it might be an interesting poll that many would participate in and with 20 responses in less than 5 hours I guess I was right. people can chime in down here with their specifics if they care to.

I guess it depends on what we determine qualifies as "hobby." My first experience with a prostitute/escort/provider was around 1981 at Boys Town in Nuevo Laredo at an extremely young age. After that, I found myself very interested in the concept and continued on once I joined the Army and spent all my time and money at the red light district in Frankfurt Germany. Once I came to Austin, I really delved into the true hobby lifestyle which was about age 24...I am now 50 and still like to dabble.
