It's hard for me to imagine but today, December 7, 1941, is the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and the U.S.'s induction into combat operations during WWII.
70 years ago! That means the youngest person alive today (assuming they enlisted at the legal age of 18) would be 78+ years old! Sadly, the Greatest Generation is dwindling away at an alarmingly staggering rate and they probably won't be around for the upcoming generation of youngsters to learn from.
