Nervous Nancy and the media is too busy waiting for Schiff to leak hearsay information instead of benefiting Americans. The Dims can't walk and chew gum at the same time.
Nothing new with Congress not passing a treaty the President wants....

https://www.thenewamerican.com/econo...bamatrade-soon

the Obama administration is calling on the GOP-controlled Congress to hurry up and approve the massive “free-trade” regime known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

What I asked for was for you, or anyone else, to tell me what the major positive impacts will be on our country with USMCA. Per your post #11:

"A guy on FoxBusiness says the USMCA is FIVE TIMES bigger than the Chinese deal. His prediction: Pass USMCA and the Dow goes to 30K.

Win, baby, win!"

Fine. That statement is very vague. I have read reviews of the USMCA and found some minor improvements to NAFTA according to others. A God send? Hardly.

But it should be passed.

How is the GDP doing?

Trump statement in August 2018, regarding 2Q18 GDP:

"We anticipate this next quarter to be, this is just an estimate, but already they’re saying it could be in the fives," Trump said — meaning GDP growth would top 5 percent. He added that the recent 4.1 percent figure “can go much higher once we get new trade deals.”

Since the beginning of 2018, the quarterly GDP has been 2.5, 3.5, 2.9, 1.1, 3.1, 2.0. 1.9. FY2018 the GDP was 2.9%, after the massive tax cuts to corporations. FY2019 is estimated to be in the low 2s, about 2.2%, and 2020 the same or a bit lower.

We have tariffs which are estimated to be costing the average family in this country $1000 a year. More than the average family received back in the tax reform. Inflation is up. The deficit is soaring. The tax reform has not delivered what it was expected to deliver:

https://www.wsj.com/articles/trumps-...ed-11572447580

Yes, unemployment is at 3.5%, lowest since 1969. I believe the unemployment rate was 4.6% when Trump took office, so it has come down 1.1% in 33 months.

There are obviously many ways to spin numbers. 54% of the people give Trump a positive approval on the economy. I give him a passing grade but it is far from what he promised.

Go back and read your post. You said “workers”. But more people are “ workers” now since the 60’s. WTF is wrong with you?

Trump is the one giving American workers a hit with these fucking tariffs.

So you've got nothing. I understand. You're a tad upset because the Astros blew it.

Stop mumbling. I'm glad we are in agreement. That was the point of the thread - that Pelosi should pass it. If you think that the USMCA benefits are overblown who cares? You didn't care enough to put forth a case in your own words and you were given multiple opportunities.

Thank you valueless poster.

Pelosi of course stalled until the impeachment show trial started. Meaning, it won't get passed. And of course, the compliant media has forgotten all about it.

In fact, the impeachment takes care of a lot of problems temporarily for the Dimocrats. USMCA not likely to get passed unless Trump wins another term. China deal won't be passed or agreed to. If Ruth Bader Ginsberg dies, we'll hear: "We can take a nomination from a President who's being impeached!"

This gives the Dims a PERFECT excuse not to govern. More specifically, make America great again!

And for what? So a man pretending to be a woman can run track and go into the women's bathroom? Ridiculous.
