Default Texting an escort??

Can you get in legal problems if you text an escort her rates and availability??

Convo:
Her: hey baby it's ****
Me: hello I was wondering if I could know about your rates and availability?
Her: yes I'm available anytime, I'm only doing outcalls.
Me: so that's me going to you or you coming to me because many people mix that up
Me: sorry going to have to end up working late tonight, will you be available tomorrow night?

I google searched her number and some random website posted she was a cop, others were a bunch of websites with her ads.

Virtually all of the so-called cop websites seem to be mostly scammers which harvest phonee numbers from escort sites.

I THINK the OP is asking (and please correct me if I'm wrong) if engaging in a text conversation with a provider regarding her rates and availability constitutes prostitution under Texas law. No, it doesn't.

You might want to read this post:

Also, ck1942 is correct about websites that publish provider phone numbers and assert they're "cops." It's a scam. Providers pay to have their numbers removed from such sites.

Heck i don't think it would count under any state's law.

And you'd be wrong about that if you had the unfortunate need to be in the state of Arkansas.

Seriously, look into or ask any Arkansas provider on eccie how little the donut patrol needs to charge anyone with a prostitution related charge under their very broad human trafficking laws.

After that you'll understand why practically all of them are so high rent.

When she replied with her rates and you say, "I'd like to see you for 2 hours starting at 7PM.",is there a safe way to respond when she replies asking what kind of hour because she has two rates for the same time based on service like 1Hr GFE Vs. 1hour PSE?

But asking about rates involves money. I thought that was a no no from the thread you linked?

Why would you ask a provider her rate? Why would you discuss money with a provider? THAT'S WHAT ECCIE IS FOR. IT HAS REVIEWS OF PROVIDERS. IT HAS PROVIDER SHOWCASES. IT HAS LINKS TO PROVIDER WEBPAGES. IT HAS PROVIDER ADS. ALL SHOULD STATE HER RATE.

In the highly unlikely event a provider's rate isn't clear from her reviews, ads, webpage, and showcase, there's a distinct difference between asking a provider, "How much should I expect to pay for two hours of your time?," and linking money with specific sex acts. Jumpin' Jehosaphat!

There's a minimal level of finesse involved in safely hobbying. If a provider texts you something like, "Note that I have a GFE rate and a PSE rate," there are a million ways to safely respond. Here's one example: "I read the review when you saw Abe Froman, The Sausage King of Chicago. I'd like a similar experience." If Abe got a GFE experience, you should get a GFE experience. If Abe got a PSE experience, you should get a PSE experience. Another example answer: "I'm not so much into kissing. I would rather you be a very nasty girl." You should get a PSE experience. I HOPE you get the idea. DON'T ask, "Can I fuck you in the butt for two hours for $300? I promise you won't feel a thing." That statement constitutes the offense of prostitution under Texas law.

If a provider volunteers something like, "My PSE rate includes Greek," or "Greek is extra," or even "Greek is $100 extra," end the conversation immediately because the provider has mentioned a specific sex act.

i think this should be emailed to all the hobbyist cause im new and still laerning but i do know not to talk a certain way. i been on eccie 1 month and almost every hobbyist they ask about rates and always trying to cut rates in half like this is back page. it gets a little frustrating.

I think everything I write should be emailed to and memorized by every Eccie member, upon threat of expulsion. Haha. But since I'm probably being delusional (as usual), I'd suggest you write something like:

MY RATES ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE

...everywhere you list your rates, such as your showcase, ads, and webpage. If a hobbyist starts to haggle, anyway, repeat the statement above until either (a) the hobbyist stops haggling, or (b) you realize you're not getting through his thick skull and you cease communicating with him.
