The biggest part of the problem is that the victim can't sue the perpetrator because of they are a "public persona." George Zimmerman had an open and shut case with the 9-1-1 tapes and the associated false coverage but a judge threw out his case against NBC, et.al.

Until the MSM are held accountable, it is going to be difficult to make progress or have progress retained.
