I'm going to sound either a little dumb, a little naive, or a little of both---but here goes:

Ok, as most of you know, I'm in the middle of this starfish auction thing. I'm terribly excited about this-- but I'm also a little apprehensive. I have a few questions for the more experienced in anal delights.

1. Lube. Whats your best suggestion for this? I've never bought lube for anything as I'm generally known for my "low lying coastal flooding". Lube has never been something I've needed up until this point.

I think most folks like Astroglide, but don't know if special condoms are required.

As for preparation, you might want to practice a little with a vibrator or other phallus. I get the purist thing love, but nobody should do anal for the first time without prep. I think you might be hurting yourself unnecessarily. Buy some anal beads, or one of the kits that has the different size plugs. Buy a few plugs and play. Think 5 course meal and the toys are courses 1-4. Going from finger to penis is no small thing. Before, during and afterward insertion, use lubrication. Don't use numbing lube (you want to feel it especially if something is too intense) and take your time.

Also, the orgasm from it is very different than the others that you have with vaginal and clitoral stimulation.

There are a number of how-to guides out there on the net that can help you with this.

But the number one/number two things are patience and lubrication. Patience because you need to have your anal ring relaxed in order to as-painfree as possible accept his cock (which by the way makes it way more pleasurable for you as well), and the second is to use lots and lots of lube because you dont' natually lubricate there.
