EJL's post had a typo. You have to start and end the tags the same, I.e. Both as brackets. (YOUTUBE).....(/YOUTUBE), except each ( should be [ and each ) should be ]. I'd show it exact, except the CODE tag isn't working correctly.
Or just click the nice YouTube tags on the advanced message screen and put the tail of the link between what the system puts there.
