United States Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland walked back his previous claim that there was no quid pro quo agreement between the United States and Ukraine.
Sondland acknowledged in his revised testimony that President Trump withheld U.S. military aid to Ukraine in order to force the Ukrainians into launching an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter. it's already getting out. a few weeks back Yahoo seemed to be blocking any post with a link to reports about Ciaramella from RealClearPolitics or TheHill. in the last few days i've been able to post either link and they stay posted. more than that, i've seen people post Eric Ciaramella's name many times as the whistle blower. it's not an official outing but it's as close as it gets. it fits the known facts of the complaint too. it seems clear it was Vindman who relayed info to Ciaramella.
as i've said before, Schiff can block testimony by Ciaramella in the House but he can't stop McConnell from calling witnesses. both sides know his name. McConnell can refuse to hold a vote unless the original complainant is brought forward to testify. McConnell can also call Ciaramella even if he's not named as the whistle blower, he had access to White House info and left under suspicion of leaking, that makes him a material witness. what happens if he refuses? that makes the Democrats look very bad, worse than they do now. So he shows. Then McConnell asks him under oath "Did you file a complaint?". Game over.
of course the media are going to gin up polls showing a majority of "respondents" favor impeachment. all they have to do is ask two Democrats and one Republican. easy. doesn't mean Schiff .. er shit.

My fav comment is when a poll shows someone a couple percent ahead of someone else. But poll has a 5% error rate. So....

True that! I was waiting in an airport lounge a few days ago where numerous big-screen monitors were displaying CNN. The appearance and apparel worn by a large number of passengers suggested that they hailed from a number of European countries as well as the US. Judging from the chyrons floating across the screen, many must have thought that The Donald will be frog-marched right out of the White House by federal marshals any day now!

However I'm seeing Trump beating various Dim candidates in key battle ground states in various polls.
gnad there is a distinction between these two questions:
1. Do you want the impeachment process of Trump to continue?
2. Do you want Trump to be removed from office by impeachment?
Many are not lying. They have reading comprehension issues.
