Default Interesting facts for Whirlway to look at

Whirlway has been spewing his biased one-sided facts for some time- he had one not too long ago where he talked about traditional Blue states losing jobs and having record deficit, but here is something interesting:
U.S. Census Bureau statistics show that of the 10 poorest states in America, nine are mostly red states. The lowest when it comes to education? Mostly red states. The most obese? Worst health care? Mostly red states.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/0...=1_Mississippi
http://caffertyfile.blogs.cnn.com/20...re-republican/

So Whirlway what does it tell you that the 10 poorest states are traditionally Republican states- i.e these are States in need of better education, better jobs, and better health care- but for some reasons all the "fucked" up states are pro GOP- I wonder why? I guess in Nov 2012- States like Alabama, Kentucky, South Carolina and the others can hoping that the GOP policy of trickle down economics will eventually pay off in their states.

you know bigdick, Oklahoma is very low or high in those stats BUT when it comes to ACT test scores, Oklahoma is in the middle of the pack

an old Prof told me years ago, referring to Harvard, "when you only accept the best, you only put out the best"

Here's a great graph for the flat earthers. The vertical axis is the percentage points of Obama's margin of victory in 2008. The horizontal axis is the percentage of people in the state with a college degree. Three guesses (and the first two don't count) which way the correlation runs.

Seriously counselor, do courtroom judges let you get away with this tripe during a trial? Your inference is that only the “uneducated” voted for McCain. The fact is, there were approximately nine million high school dropouts who voted in the 2008 election. (Table 5 @ http://www.census.gov/hhes/www/socde...08/tables.html)

Furthermore, Obama captured 63% (approximately 5,670,000 million votes – a large portion of Obama’s margin of victory) - the preponderance - of that vote; whereas, McCain garnered only 35% (approximately 3,150,000 million votes) of the vote in that category. It will be interesting to see this same info after the 2012 election. I don't think his Hope and Change mantra will be that effective now that he has a record for people to see.

It tells me alot of things; including the fact that citizens in the red states still believe in the American dream of a better tomorrow, smaller government, more freedom and opportunities along with individual responsibility. They are a citizen class that believes in their own destiny and brighter future. A view that America is an exceptional country which is a force for good in this world.

While citizens in the blue states belive in bigger government, more debt, more handouts, less freedoms and more welfare on the backs of working Americans. They are a victim society of their own making. A view that America isn't exceptional and is a force for what is wrong in this world.

The left annually trots out this kind of rubbish; not too long ago they were touting people who listen to NPR are smarter than Fox viewers !

If it makes them feel better let them have their fairy tales !

They also think Obama is a great President !

Is Bill Gates a flat-earther? He didn't have a college degree.

I knew you would get this wrong.
What about conservative citizens in blue states? What about liberal citizens in red states?
How reliable are the observations of someone who is constantly wrong, doesn’t learn from their mistakes, and refuses to acknowledge that they made mistakes in the first place.

Who says listeners are smarter than viewers? Actually I would but not because one is fox and the other is npr. I’m not going to watch 30 minutes of TV news that actually give you 7-10 minutes of news. If I need a visual image I can look at the internet later.

You're a fucking funny fella MM: you actually think there is a "right" and "wrong" answer.......you must truly be a dumb fuck !

I think conservative citizens in blue states are working to turn their blue state red !

And for the short bus people - Vice versa in the red states !

Munch, I thought you liked Obama? I guess his observations aren't as reliable as I thought.

But, but but.....then, why do red states take more in federal tax dollars/subsidies/stimulus than Blue states?

Texas may be a GOP stronghold,
but we got some democrat politicians
with a lot of pull. They always line up
for the gravy.

I would still need to see the supporting
financial numbers. Texas, Florida, Georgia, Alabama:
have significant military and space support facilities.
South Carolina isn't to be overlooked either.
Those costs would have to be omitted.
