Hey! I was wanting some feedback on the most ideal side of town to stay on in Amarillo?? I will be getting to town later tonight or in the morning.... I’m completely lost as to which side of town is most convenient for you guys , places to eat, places to shop??? Not like you u gents have the 411 on shopping but maybe some of the local ladies could chime in about that. I do like to be close to a mall, target, etc....

The west side of town is probably where you want to be. On I-40 around Soncy or Coulter. I don't have any specific hotel recommendations, but most hotels on that side of town are clean and up to date, tons of restaurants and shopping on that side of town as well... and if you're accident prone, there are two hospitals.

I agree with Longhorn. Most midrange 75 to 100 per night Hilton Marriott Choice properties are clean and safe. Mall is between Soncy and Coulter at I 40 and Soncy has a mile long strip of shopping as well. Restaurants plentiful in that area as well.
