Default Gabbard is one of the sensible ones on the left that warns of the political implications of impeachment.

This is why Mr. Gaffe has that stupid avatar...not one of the sensible ones. She says it would tear the country apart...you're unAmerican Mr. Gaffe. I hope they do their best to impeach him because nothing else is working and this would be the final nail in their coffin...keep digging!!

Tulsi Gabbard Has Figured Out What Other Democrats Struggle With On Impeachment

Tusli Gabbard by Gage Skidmore, licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0/Original
In a sea of insanity on the Democrat’s side, Hawaii’s Rep. Tulsi Gabbard seems to have at least some kind of semblance of a head on her shoulders. The left is screaming for President Donald Trump’s impeachment, but Gabbard is making the case that this is a bad idea and would only “tear the country apart” even more.
And she’s right.
According to the Daily Wire, Gabbard appeared with Greta Van Susteren on her show “Full Court Press,” where Van Susteren asked if Gabbard was in support of the House Judiciary Committee’s vote for an impeachment inquiry:
“Congress is coming back this week and the House Judiciary Committee is planning on voting on an expanded impeachment inquiry. Do you support this?” Host Greta Van Susteren asked during the premier episode of her new show “Full Court Press.”
“I don’t,” Gabbard replied. “You know, I think it’s important for us to think about what is in the best interest of the country and the American people, and continuing to pursue impeachment is something that I think will only further … tear our country apart.”
“Make no bones about it: We need to defeat Donald Trump,” she continued. “But, I think it’s important for our country’s sake and our future that the voters in this country are the ones who do that, and I believe we will.”
The majority of Democrat lawmakers are pushing for impeachment proceedings, but Gabbard seems to be one of the few on the left paying attention to the polls. Only 11 percent of Americans in July said that they believe Trump could be impeached according to a Rasmussen poll. An August Monmouth poll showed that 59 percent of Americans believe Trump should not be impeached.

Americans just aren’t into the idea of impeachment, and proceeding down that path would be a large waste of time and effort on the Democrat’s part. In fact, it would be harmful as Democrats would be seen pushing an agenda American doesn’t want.
But trying to find a way to oust Trump without winning an election is something Democrats have been trying to do for some time now. The Russia investigation was a drum Democrats beat well after it was revealed that Trump was innocent of all charges, trying to generate hearing after hearing and coming up with narrative after narrative to make Trump seem guilty.
As I’ve said before, Democrats don’t think they can win 2020 and haven’t thought that for some time. They put a lot of time and effort into trying to cripple Trump instead of boosting their own candidates. Perhaps if they did pay attention to their own elections, then there would be more positivity and substance to the Democrat candidates. They’re not, proving that the Democrats think that none of 2020 primary players are up to snuff.
Gabbard is the only one who seems to see the forest for the trees.

With the Big Three candidates - Biden, Sanders, Warren - the DPST's have no chance in 2020 with their socialist agenda.

Gabbard is correct, i believe.

I hope Nadler and the House proceed with impeachment - it will backfire bigly on them as persecution of the POTUS for winning 2016.

Come on down Nadler - pass out the Impeachmints.

Show what worthless cynical hypocrites the DPST's are.

Now from the Aof S - Nazi, etc.

They got nothing else.

Besides being fixated on hating Trump and his supporters the Democrats are failing to inspire voters with realistic ideas on the major issues like Immigration, Healthcare, Domestic and foreign policy. Tulsi Gabbard seems to want to stay on a normal track with the most important issues that confront the country, but because the main political feature with the Democratic Party is to marginalize Trump. This women will not be taken seriously and she has become political target from other Democratic.

Dems say they need to defeat Trump but, they rig the debates to keep the one person out that could do so.
It's hard to unseat an incumbent president anyway, unless the economy goes down the crapper. The best bet for the Dems would be to go for a Hail Mary ( or a Hare Krishna , in this case) and support Tulsi, or at least give her a fair hearing in the debates.

Of course, if the Dems lose it's much easier to keep bitching about Trump while blaming the Roosians and White Spermacists rather then having to actually come up with workable solutions.

That's what makes them stupid. They think with their emotions not with their brains. Gabbard is the only candidate on the Democratic stage that can swing some votes from across the aisle.

What's paradoxical is that someone who is so left leaning on many issues has appealed to many Libertarians who are often almost obsessive about their devotion to ' libertarian principles'.

Tulsi Gabbard is a flaming liberal.
Not a nut job Liberal like Bernie and "The Squad", or hypocritical demagogues like Harris, Beto, and the majority of the Democrat hopefuls.
She is a liberal. Period.

why that spin? many people, present company included, changed their minds about impeachment in the past 2 weeks. that tired phrase "enough is enough" has turned some views lately.
