Question Is it safe to travel to Juarez or do Juarez men travel to El Paso

Would love to visit Juarez but because of the obvious it has never crossed my mind to even think about crossing the border. Ive been in el for 4-5 years and has heard tons of stories of how fun it used to be

depends on what you want to do, but despite that the danger is passing...now people are actually out and about, and there's even rumor that they want to re-open the old "mercado", a building in which several stores are open to the public to get pretty much whatever you need and the food stands are outstanding as well as some of the restaurants...things are definitely much better over in juarez though (even the old Kentucky Club has gotten a facelift) because a lot of it is being renovated especially in the downtown area

I was there yesterday...my Spanish is terrible...don't stop me though...I actually feel safer than 15 years ago, btw, the sentri pass is awesome, you get tsa pre, and Juarez is basically in the same city...and that means $20-$40 mexico massages whenever!!! Hypothetically (hahahaha) speaking, I can be downtown el paso, go to chaude, spend an hour there and be back within 2 hours.

I head there all the time. I am about as white as a white guy can be and speak very little broken Spanish. Never had an issue. I have walked ALL OVER Juarez. I actually walked back to the Sante Fe bridge from Chaude, holy shit, that was a long walk, but had no issues. Spent some time in a Casino there, no problems. I have been thinking of heading over and getting a few Margaritas from the Old Kentucky Bar, maybe this weekend. Anyway, the food there is AWESOME, plentiful, cheap, and EVERYWHERE! I LOVE Juarez!!!
