Seriously, we need someone who's willing to make some very tough and difficult decisions, not just another self-serving political hack.

Obama has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that he has no intention of doing any such thing.

Romney has a history of flipping and flopping like a freshly caught fish on a hot dock. Who the hell knows what he is likely to try to do in the unlikely event that he actually wins the election? But I assume that he would start running for re-election almost as soon as he first occupied the Oval Office.

Fast track nuclear reactor projects so that ground will be broken within a year.

Inform the UN that their lease is up on the UN building and they have 24 months to vacate.

Increase the size of the navy by one carrier battle group as part of a 70 ship build up.

Inform the government of Afghanistan that in order to keep our stablizing presence and protection I want to hear nothing but support from the Afghan government and the end of honor killings (yes, we will tell them how to act civilized).

Establish a floating depot in the Straits of Hormuz for support of ships against Iran. About 600 acres with runways, barracks, self defense sites, and pier facilities.

Return some navy ships to duty as a prepositioned rescue force.

Begin legislation creation that tells each state that they are responsible for their own budget woes and there will be no bailouts by the federal government.

Initiate a national program to combat gang activity by any means necessary.

Declare that I will not be campaigning for a second term, and then proceed to nail the following dictum to the front door of the Capital ala Martin Luther style requesting Congress act on the following:

• Immediate freeze on all pay raises for Congress, federal judges and POTUS, and enact into law a fair and reasonable pay increase program.
• Immediate cut in staffs. Freshmen congressman don’t need a staff of 50 or whatever.
• Immediate end to lobby payouts, jobs for retiring politicians to special interest groups.
• Immediate cancellation of all bennies including special medical plan and retirement plan for the Congress and the POTUS. (I’m not sure if the SCOTUS and federal judges have the same outrageous packages as the aforementioned.)
• Make all of Congress, SCOTUS? and POTUS join SS.
• Immediate reduction in spending without layoffs. Low hanging fruit could cut 10% alone, and enact a scale of reduction in spending (NOT RESTRICTIONS ON INCREASED SPENDING.)
• Forbid engaging in war without a formal declaration of war as defined by the Constitution.
• Combine all social network / welfare programs into a one lump payment of some kind.
• Worker Program for Mexican wishing to work in the United States so they may be documented and taxed. This would be in conjunction to repealing the part of the 14th Amendment that guaranteeing citizenship to all that are born here.
• Repeal Obamacare and in its place write into law a more fair, single payer system.
• Fund, and fight off the ridiculous Religious Right, birth control targeting under-age and unwed (Yes, I realize this isn’t PC.) pregnancies. This is causing a permanent underclass in our society.
• Extreme campaign reform. $500 limits and, working within the confines of the egregious SOCTUS decision that corporations are people too, forbid businesses from giving to campaigns.
• Flat tax on ordinary income. Define ordinary income to include people / companies that make a living off of capital gains.
• Target and tax companies that ship jobs overseas. Some kind of a taxation or fine.

By Executive Order:

• For any payments of social welfare to American children at least one parent must be a citizen.
• Pull out of any and all foreign conflicts Saigon style if necessary.
• Reverse the Dreamer Act executive order.
• Reverse the educational decree for racially biased discipline Obama just wrote.
• Declare a true war on cartel violence spilling into our country.

Apply whatever pressure by reaching out to the country and starting grass roots movements to see the above gets done.
