The "object, body part, or activity", il.e. latex, bondage, foot, etc) are not necessarily sexual. It's that they enable the sexual experience. In respects obsession is a synonym for fetish.

The "Providing fetish" is probably very real. I wouldn't be surprised if some providers felt like "It makes me horny to service someone and get paid for it."

I know I have a provider fetish. It makes me horny just to know that I'm communicating with providers. Actually, that sounds nicer than my what I'm actually thinking.
