Default NFL

I'm just curious what everyone's take is on the players taking a knee during the National anthem?
I decided this week to stop watching football until the players can show some respect for the country. I think that the time and place for a protest is somewhere else, and not while they are at work being paid to entertain us.
I am disgusted with the commissioner and the owners for allowing all of this to go on and agree with the president that firing some
players would be a good idea.
I wouldn't watch a movie or go to a concert if I had to listen to those entertainers political views before the show started, and this is no different to me.
Opinions?

Totally agree. The libtards have usurped the NFL. At the rate they are going it will mean No Fans Left.

You do not see such bullshit in auto racing.

Nike, the largest athletic company and number one sponsor of professional sports in the world, has canceled all dealings with the Dallas Cowboys. Company CEO Isaac P. Freely told Fox Sports:

“To come out on the field and kneel to thugs and criminals just before saluting the flag was a reprehensible move our company won’t easily forgive. The Dallas Cowboys are no longer licensed to wear, display or sell merchandise with the Nike name or logo on it.”

Owner Jerry Jones says he will fight the move, stating that he was showing his players that he was with them but still managed to see that every one of them stood for the National Anthem.

We're definitely in Texas... I didn't watch football but just started again to show my support. It's not about the flag. #MakeAmericaHateAgain.

Sounds like fake news for all the impulse news-biters. What's the source? Realdonaldtrump.com?

Not correct. Ford and Nike both issued statements supporting the players.

I only watched the cowboys to monitor how Romo would turn certain victory to defete. Now he is done no longer interested. What is entertaining to me is the wealthy players do not put their money where their beliefs are. They disrespect the flag then stand up and think "I've done my part". Like most racial issues and it is racial, it is stupid.

If the protests were done elsewhere, and not during the anthem then it wouldn't be about the flag and country, but they have made it that and shown a total lack of respect for the country.

#MakeAmericaHateAgain? Really? That's typical standard liberal crap. See if you can piss everyone off and then call the people you pissed off a hater.
Most of us who are against these protests just get up and go to work every day and really don't put much thought into who we hate or don't hate. Don't bother me and I wont bother you, but they bothered me with this. So when I voice my opinion that makes me a hater? Bullshit!

I wasn't even getting into the fact that statistics show that Kaepernicks original reason for protesting is wrong. Maybe these guys should put more of their effort into stopping black on black violence, which is a far bigger danger to black people in this country than anything the police do.

It's not like they are doing this during the anthem

The owners had it handled before the dotard made it a circus. The players enjoyed the illusion that they could voice their concerns, and the kneelers could be blackballed at the whim of the owners. Now, the owners will tell whomever is offended, including the dotard, to fuck off unless their cash flow is affected.

This chick is disrespecting the flag every time she farts, but I forgive her.

This chick is goddamn treasonous, but I forgive her.
