What is the board's Policy on advertising other businesses?

If I had an adult toy store for example could I promote it in any way here on ECCIE?

I've been waiting for everyone to chime in, but it seems that it won't be the case.

I'll share what I have so far. Now please bear in mind that this is how I interpret those responses, and that no official policy is in place.

Each advertising event will be dealt with on an individual basis.
It is okay to advertise businesses on the board, so long as it is passive advertising and not done in an agressive manner.
If anyone is serious about advertising, then they may purchase banner space.

The only chiming in I would have done is say "Why didn't you ask one of the upper people of ECCIE that you have lunch/face time with about it?"

I try to let the locals have an opportunity to weigh in on a subject and do the right thing before going around/over them most of the time....
