I was just watching Trump's press conference. At least 2 people questioned him about "the wall" and he conveniently avoided the funding question. He said that the U.S. will be taking in billions and billions of additional money, primarily from Mexico, due to NAFTA being replaced with the USMCA and this essentially means that Mexico will be paying for the wall. I personally don't know how but let's assume it is true.

Trump says it is worth billions and billions to the U.S. Trump is not shutting down the government and asking for a "loan" until we reap the benefits of the USMCA.
