Default Kind of a serious question but curious...

Hello all staff of ECCIE. I'm not sure if this should be posted under legal but by all means if you deem it necessary move it! Or maybe in the national forums

I was curious of a couple things. First, has there been any issues of legality that have been brought toward this website? I know this website and webmaster has done absolutely nothing illegal. This is all free speech. But I'm curious if anyone has every attempted to aquire some sort of "evidence" or anything of the like.

And my second is if that were to happen what protections are in place for us posters? I guess thinking about it I kind of answer my own question in a sense. Post at your own risk. I know a lot of rules about posting are in place to try and circumvent RL info from being released and hopefully people follow these rules.

But don't let me reply to the second question dismay you. Answer the question!

Thanks for any input!

Your post is strange because (1) the staff doesn't monitor this forum, (2) the legal forum IS a national forum, (3) your questions really aren't legal questions -- they're security questions, and (4) it's HIGHLY UNLIKELY anyone connected with Eccie will answer your questions. Why would Eccie publicly reveal its approach to LE inquiries?

My suggestion would be to post in the "Security Matters" forum:

https://eccie.net/forumdisplay.php?f=4

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for an answer by an agent of Eccie, though.

I looked in the "Security Matters" forum, and a few months ago there was a thread on the very same topic. Some "Eccie lawyers" chipped in their two cents (which is what their views are worth), but no one from Eccie contributed.

Shyster... Thanks for the input. When I post this I originally posted it in a local thread and requested if the mods felt it needed moved to move it. The placed it here. I agree it's a security issue. And that is perfectly fine if the Eccie doesn't answer. I was just tossing curiosity out there.

If you're REALLY interested:

Crime On-line: Correlates, Causes, and Context by Thomas Holt is available on Kindle

There is a chapter on TER (The Erotic Review) that deals with some of the topics you ask about.
