We learned from this last election cycle that the number one thing that democrats use to attack Republicans is......the Koch brothers. Who are the Koch brothers? Two of the Koch brothers believe in the free market and have interests in politics. There are five total but they never tell you that. There were born in Kansas and like Superman said, "you can't get more American than that.".
Now look at George Soros the savior of the democratic party, personal friend of Bill, Hillary, and Barack. He was born in Hungary and though he was Jewish, he sold out his own people to the Nazis for money resulting in their deaths. Soros believes in crony capitalism as long as he is the crony. Soros declared in 2004 that he owned the democratic party after he invested 300 million in it.

For a change, you're making things up again. There are more evil parties in play than simply the Koch Brothers. just so happens that YOU react to any criticism of them because you're one of the mindless lemmings their money has influenced.

So, in typical neocon fashion, you attack an individual on the opposing side to make your villians look better.

Dumber than a bag of hammers, ain't ya!

At least he's a real black guy. BO was just half. As far as I'm concerned, Clinton is still the first black President. He cared more.

I haven't started vetting anyone really but I do like a lot of his message.
I do know that he supports a tax system in which everyone contributes.
He first gained notoriety for attacking political correctness.

He is a religious man and I don't have any problem with that as long as he keeps that out of the political spectrum. I don't know if a truly religious politician can separate the two.

Let me restate that. Maybe a truly religious person can separate the two but someone that runs on religion probably can't.

If he wants to get on his knees every morning and ask for guidance then good for him. If you're not religious call it meditation or introspection. Again, I don't have a problem with it as long as he's attacking the nations problems from a practical standpoint and not trying to inject his God into our lives.

A medical doctor that has been as successful as he is probably can separate his personal life from his professional one better than most.

Not quite, about 20 years ago Hoelze, I thinck I spelled it correctly, tried to take over the TX Republican party. He was a religious zealot.

So, because he is a religious zealot, he is tainted in your eyes?

Hoelzle?

What does that have to do with Dr. Carson?

I've heard him talk several times and I have not heard any "bible thumping"!

A "fanaticism" will generally surface in interviews or commentaries.

Was Martin Luther King a "religious zealot"?

What's your point? Or do you even have a point (other than the point on top of your cone shaped white hat)? Even if MLK was a "religious zealot" does it really matter? Being a Rev was MLK's chosen field, not politics. The same would be true of the Rev. Billy Graham.

Neither ran for public office.

Then you were not paying attention during those years.

Yes, he wanted to bring the bible more into politics than it was, or is.

I guess it depends on your choice of religion. Environmentalism is a religion today, they talk about morality, take everything on faith, and declare anyone who disagrees with them as immoral. Half the democrats running for office are enviromentally religious and they want to take your money to their "good" works. I would worry about the guy who says that he will heal the planet and lower the oceans...wait! I've heard that somewhere before.
