Speaking as a regular member not as a staff member why would you link your personal info on an anonymous board anyways? There's not a need for https or a VPN if you're using a burner phone and a hobby email address.

Forever will you spend bashing "give me a new identity" as the ECCIE machine blocks tor exit nodes.

The HTTPs thing used to be reasonable. In the age of ostensibly free certs and AES-NI, it's not (I await someone telling me how badly it'll break the ad integration, which is what I'm assuming the real hangup is).
