But if reports are true, he would have invested $23.75M:

Front Office Sports was among the first report the transaction, adding that the Rockets star has purchased a 5% stake. According to the outlet, the overall valuation of the Dynamo, Dash and BBVA Stadium -- where the Dynamo and Dash play their home games -- is "at least $475 million."

The Dynamo are a real sleeping giant and could take off with a proper owner that spends money on the team (last in payroll the last two years). Maybe Harden can convince Fertitta to scrounge around his couch cushions and put together the $237.5M needed to get a majority stake in the team. Just around 10% of what he paid for the Rockets.
