Isabella from Backpage: no call/no show

I had called to set up an appointment with Isabella, and when I had arrived where I was to meet her, I call her and she asks me to wait for five minutes. After about ten minutes, I called her and she did not answer. I tried calling a couple more times over a half hour and still didn't get an answer, so I finally left. Things happen, but it seemed odd that she would answer my call, tell me she would call me back in five minutes, and then nothing.

Oh well, merely an annoyance; at least something bad didn't happen. In any case, has anyone else seen Isabella?

Haven't seen her, but this hobby is full of flaky behavior. This sort of thing is happening enough that I've just started to chalk it up to "being the price of business".

Yes there is plenty of "flaky behavior", and I agree that it does come with the territory. However, if we expose this behavior, maybe we can convince some of these young ladies that it is unacceptable to treat their clients in this manner. Next to poor hygeine, double booking NC/NS is the most disrespectful thing a provider could do.

BTW - before any white knights come riding in saying "emergencies happen...blah blah blah...give her a chance to explain...blah blah blah", in this particular situation, Philhelm arrived at the agreed upon location at the agreed upon time. She told him to wait 5 minutes (which totally sucks but is not that big a deal), then never answers. I find it extremely hard to believe that an "emergency" occured in those 5 minutes. More likely, she was enjoying whatever activity she was currently engaging in more than her desire to serve her client.

You've got a point, swarmy. And I do agree that it's a shitty thing to do. But I guess I just shrug things off and don't get bent out of shape too much. If she had to push herself to make an appointment, I probably wouldn't have wanted to see her anyway.

I agree completely, and the purpose of my post was to share with the community so that other hobbyists can decide if it's worth their time to attempt to dream of Isabella. The whole point of this site is for people involved in the hobby to be safe and to share information for everyone's benefit. One of the things I love about the hobby, other than that one specific form of government intervention, is that it operates on a delightly free-market, capitalist system. If a provider were to develop a consistent reputation for certain negative behavior, then she should be edged out by her competitors. What happened with Isabella could be a one-off fluke, but none of us would know if nobody ever shared the bad as well as the good.

I've been fortunate, since this is the first time that I got a no call/no show. I've seen some flaky behavior here and there, which is one of the reasons I avoid making appointments that aren't fairly spontaneous, and it has worked well for me overall. However, I agree with swarmyone; certain things should be called out, and should not be a part of the hobby. Providers don't want their time wasted, and neither do we.
