Break through the media firewall and get the truth about global weather.

If you click the link below, you'll get a global wind map. Click on "Earth" to get different options, not the globe, but the text on the lower left hand corner. For example, click on "Earth," then click on "Temp" in the "Overlay" row to get global temperatures along with a global wind map.

Right now, the heatwave makes sense in terms of jet stream and global wind patterns, and not on anything that we humans are doing. If you want to find out the "misery index," click on "MI" in the "Overlay" row.

This is a neat tool to have to check the integrity of the weather folk hyperventilating over the heatwave.
