Default Anybody notice.......

How the lefties here continue to bash Trump but have nothing. Not one has started a thread about candidates they support to beat Trump, and most importantly, how and why. Maybe because they know it’s a lost cause!

They are all "C" level candidates. At this point, I'd like to see a poll with Hillary's name thrown in.

At this point in time in 2015, Donald Trump was the choice of 5% of the Republicans. If memory serves me correctly, there was maybe 1 member of this forum who supported Trump at that point in time. Personally I'm waiting a while until the field is sorted out a bit and the candidates start firming up their platforms.

BTW Bambino, you neglected to answer my 2 rather simple questions. Anyone else can also feel free to answer them:

1. Approximately 5 states will determine the outcome of the 2020 election -- Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Florida.

2. No matter how much faith you or others put in polls, Trump and his reelection team are VERY aware of the 3 latest polls which have him trailing in key battleground states and are taking immediate actions to keep those states red in 2020.

Agree or disagree?

I think what Trump is aware of is he’s kept most of his promises to the voters in swing states that took a chance and voted for him in 2016. He’s also aware that the recent rallies in those states were packed with the same enthusiasm. They are also aware that Biden, like Hillary, can’t draw fleas. Deja Vu all over again.

So absolutely nothing substantive to add. Pure opinion. Why is Trump trailing so badly in all battleground states in all polls?
Why did Republicans get hammered in the popular vote in the 2018 midterms? And to remind you the polls correctly called it. Why is Trump's overall approval ratings so low? Why has Trump's approval ratings in Michigan dropped 20 points since he took office and stands at -17%. In Pennsylvania it has dropped 17 points and stands at -7%. In Wisconsin it has dropped 19 points and stands at -13%.

So your answer is Trump is drawing crowds at his rallies?

Opinion? Fact, the caliphate is gone. Fact, taxes are cut, fact, the economy is great, fact, the wall is being built, fact, the military is fully funded. Fact, ACA fine was repealed, fact, record number of conservative judges appointed. Fact, withdrew from TPP and Paris accord, fact, NAFTA is renegotiated. These are most of the promises he made and kept. That’s a fact jack. I guess you missed the rallies in Pa and Florida? They were packed. Biden barely had 200 people at his kickoff In Philadelphia. Those are facts. And here’s an important fact that you fail to accept. Trump won in 2016. You can pour through all the numbers and polls. You can try to dismiss his victory. But in fact, he WON. I see the same things happening now that happened in 2016. But now, Trump has delivered on most of his promises. Despite historic efforts to take him out. That’s a fact too.

Trump has had successes. I never said otherwise. I don't agree that everything you list is a "success: but that is open for discussion at another time. Yes Trump won in 2016 and there are reasons WHY he won and there are reasons WHY Republicans lost the 2018 popular vote so dramatically. You seem to dismiss that change in voting patterns. Yes, Trump was NOT on the ballot but Republican candidates lost specific segments of the voting population that brought Trump his victory in 2016.

And Trump's approval ratings are mired in the low 40s and he trails badly in all polls, not matter how much faith you put in polls. If you see the same things happening in 2019/2020 that happened in 2016, fine. All I'm saying is that Trump is VERY aware of his numbers in key battleground states and knows he has to win those states in order to be reelected. But I'm happy you are so positive of a Trump victory in 2020. I will wait until about a year from now before making any prediction. Right now I'll continue to say it is 50-50.

He was aware about those states in 2016. And he worked his ass off in those states. Hillary put her faith in the POLLS and did nothing. You see Speedy, sometimes there no substitute for good old fashioned hustle. Here’s a few more facts. Trumps campaign will be far more organized than his first. He has the full support of the Republican Party. Hillary had the Clinton and Obama machine Behind her. Along with the MSM. She outspent Trump 2/1. All the polls had her in a landslide. And she still lost!!!!!!! Here’s another fact Speedy, Trump raised 24.8 million in 24hrs after is official Florida announcement. That’s a fucking record. There’s a lot of enthusiasm with Trump. Money talks and bullshit polls walk. I’ll offer you the same bet that I offered YR and Iva Biggen. I’ll take Trump over the Democrats field. Loser leaves the forum for 3 months. Good luck!

I think you are substantially correct and I am happy to believe Trump has a good shot at repeating his unforseen victory again.

I do think Speed has correctly framed the battleground and Trump must make sure he wins those states.

The forces of evil desperately want to get rid of Trump to continue to destroy America and turn it into a socialist shithole so we must remain vigilant and hard working and not become overconfident. It is not disloyal to Trump to acknowledge he could easily lose to the haters and race hustlers.
