Morgan, thanks for an interesting thread.

My one caution would be not to confuze SOCIALS (Meet & Greets) with any other type of events, especially those that continue into PFP or which might be connected to PFP in some loose fashion.

Nothing wrong in my estimation with an social event that is followed by an "after party" organized outside of the social event itself. (See my pm for more info.)

Nothing wrong, either, with an "after-party" that is preceded by a social meet & greet. In fact, many "after parties" do not include P4P at all, just a more convivial venue than the social venue.

Best if organizers of either event are not one and the same. And if the social organizer attends or not, doesn't matter.

Those who attend any my meet & greet events fully agree to the event rules, and, they also agree to depart the event venue. What they do afterward and elsewhere is not connected to the M&G.

For those who don't know it, there are many "Fight Club" events out there, and, for those in the know, fight clubs means no public discussion!

As noted in my signature, there are regular events in Austin and San Antonio, and travelers are always welcome to attend (as long as they are properly vouched).

+1000!!! LE is BY FAR the LEAST of my concerns in this community. The most dangerous and threatening people are the ones who try to gain your trust, or "friendship" only to exploit your trust at some point in the future. This is a hustle to most people. You will not find any sincerity here other than the sincere need some people have to get whatever they can out of you by any means necessary. That right there is the biggest reason to stay away. You never know what game the other person is playing until its too late. If you think like a normal person, you're in for a huge disappointment at best. Or a complete loss of what WAS your life at worst.

I attend happy hours and small meetings but I never drive myself and I always dress conservatively so not to draw attention to myself. The risk just isn't worth the reward. I may attend a big social someday if I get the nerve to but the smaller the group the more likely I am to attend. Call me paranoid. Lol

well said and i agree with MOST of it.

I have been to a couple different M&G's and several times. They are a lot of fun IF you can always be a gentleman and respectful. I have met so many great people. (Guys and girls) It's nice to put a face with the handle, have drinks together, listen to music and get to know a lot of great people. If you see someone you like, be cool. there is always another day, Eccie, & P411 and now you got the chance to see her in person before the call. I Miss meeting Everyone.

As many have pointed out (and a huge tip o' the hat for chiming in, everyone!) history tells us there are people (yes, small percentage but there just the same) out there who enjoy screwing up a really good thing. Anyone putting such an event together: screen, screen and screen again before putting together a final list of invitees. All it takes is one who has their own agenda to spoil it for the masses.

No doubt, the rules of Fight Club totally apply here.

That said, M&G's are a blast for all attending who are "on the same page"....terrific opportunity to meet someone new and make plans accordingly, right?

Hott Nurse could not leave the house without calling attention to herself. Beauty and charisma will always be magnets, no matter in what clothes.
