Alright. The Tower of Pain is a little extreme as far as nipple torture goes but what opinions do you about getting one? It's a little expensive and I don't wish to get one unless it's worth it.

It really depends.

Aesthetically some love 'the look' while others wonder wth is the shoehorn thing for?

In use, if you like tension on your nipple clamps - it's the bomb.
Pros:
Frees up the hand (or hands) for other activities.
portable.
Adjustable.
Incorporates into ____ easily.

Cons:
Can get the same effect with a hand a foot or by 'tying off' (ie to a doorknob, chair, table leg, people leg, their leg/mouth ....et al)
Can get in the way

On a side note (and as always) a person's physical, mental and medical conditions need to be considered. Many people are just as uncomfortable with something on their chest as they are with something over their nose/mouth (claustrophobic types). I was in a car wreck - sans seat belt - and popped one of my ribs (rib ends) out of my breast bone. For years it was prone to pop out. I required additional support for tower play (leather shirt type corsetish thing). Asthma, bronchial anything - pay attention.

(BTW - they are fun to decorate - get one, go outside and attach pinwheels...freakin hilarious)

Couple of dowels, clover clamps, a drill and you can make your own Reminds me of some CBT devices I have seen. Much prefer hands on type nipple play myself, more personal ya know?

I prefer this tower view. I do agree that a device like this can be made with some very simple material. This s very elegant and if one wanted one Extreme Restraints is out of stock so it must be very popular.

While I love personal nipple play this frees up your hands for other fun.

Other than increasing the pain level with the turn screw, wouldn't you get the same effect by attaching small weights to the chain that normally attaches to the clover clips?

For me, it costs way more than the excitement I'd get out of it.

I once played with a domme who worked my nipples for half an hour with just a silver fork and spoon. The fork was dipped in ice water and then used to prick at the nipples until they were quite, quite tender. Then the silver spoon was dipped in hot water and rolled slowly over the tender spots that had been created by the fork.

I was screaming... and hard as a rock. It's best if it hurts a bit too much. The frozen fork and scalding spoon certainly met that criterion.

Clover clamps can be a lot to take, especially for someone new, or someone who has a lot threshold of pain <> pleasure tolerance. I have found that using the tweezer-style clamps, or another adjustable one really are better to start out with nipple play. Also, because clover clamps tighten as you pull away from the nipple, they are best used in some sort of play where the wearer has to choose from the worst of two sensations. It certainly works well with the mindfuck scenario!


The device is interesting, but probably not one I would play with personally. I actually like to be the one tormenting (though I'm sure a victim or three would say it wasn't all bad... my "victim". The nipples are fun to play with, and can be quite responsive. I think I'd much rather have my "victim" impaled on a nice vibrating dildo with clitoral stimulation and while my partner in crime vibrates away I could turn my attention to the upper part of the body.

Clover clamps with a weight attached gets the effect I desire. I like to throw the weight into the air and catch it. But sometimes I get clumsy and miss, bwahahahahahaha.

Having a sub hold the weight in her teeth while other stimulation is applied is another great mind fuck. If (OK, when) the weight is dropped definitely gets her attention. Brings a tear to my eye... and hers!!!

HHHMMM, I happen to have one. Given to me by one of my playthings, I'd say it was a definite mix of pleasure/pain for those I've used it on, male and female. Delicious to watch their eyes as you tighten the screw though.
