You mean the LIBERAL MEDIA .... is fanning the flames of war?

Really?

As for the "military industrial complex" .....

........ would you rather the "complex" make solar panels and sell them overseas?

There you go speculating again, Lord help anyone else who does the same.

It seems the pilots were shot during their parachute down by the "Turkmen", who are a tribal faction that is aided by Turkey in their efforts to throw out Assad.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...e-Turkmen.html

As best I can tell, Turkey funds their because they are brutally efficient fighters.

I think their attitude is...."he just dropped bombs on us, so h's a dead man".

War is a nasty business. You have Russia and Iran backing Assad, and the NATO Nations in particular backing the Rebels.

This whole "Rebel" thing is confounded by who hates who more, some are Sunni, some are Shiite, they are kinda in that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing at the moment. But, the minute Assad is gone, one of the two will star chanting....." My Gods bigger than your God" and the killing just continues..........

Just like it has for over a thousand years.

By the way. That Russian plane stood no chance against the F-16's. The are designed as air to air combat fighters. The SU-24 is basically a fighter bomber. Bigger, slower, and much more vulnerable in a dogfight.

Exactly and when we needed their oil, it made sense to meddle in their business. Does not make the same sense now. Let Europe , Russia and China sort out the ME.

JS.. I wasn't suggesting the 24 could out maneuver or even out run, although it is my understanding they are reasonable hot close ground support. I was thinking more of "defensive measures" ..... with the "ears" and "eyes" reference that would have alerted them to perhaps "re-assess" and "re-locate"! There are some "upgrades" of the 24, so I guess right now we aren't 100% certain of the variation shot down.

I'm still looking for the confirmation that 2 Turk 16's were attacking.

The 0zombie King didn’t actually want to fight ISIS... http://theconservativetreehouse.com/...a/#more-108997

What If The Turkish Shooting Of Russian Fighter Jet Was Also To Protect President Obama?….

The story of CENTCOM analysts accusing commanders of manipulating intelligence reports on ISIS to appease the White House is a story that has some interest in the mainstream media – but what if it is actually connected to a larger issue?

if this situation isn't handled correctly, the consequences could be ugly. for everyone.

http://www.valuewalk.com/2015/11/rus...ar-war-likely/

it's my guess at present this is nothing more than typical Russian sabre rattling.
let's hope so.
