Both PBS and NPR are far left enough to be considered the U.S. version of Pravda / State run media like " back in the U.S.S.R. " . Why should taxpayers subsidize those channels, especially when you see their cooking shows and how the T.V. chefs that are on them promote their books and other items ? Why should we subsidize the criminal ( and Clinton friend ) Martha Stewart and her cooking show ?

the real issue is America is divided

and half the country shouldn't have to pay for the propaganda of the other half

the left wouldn't like it if the government helped subsidize rush limbaugh or most anyone on talk radio

in fact, if I remember right, the national endowment for the arts, I think either encouraged or had a conference with artists, to create "art" that would promote the agenda of Obama

reminds me of public schools teaching elementary kids songs of praise to obama
