New Areas

Hi Gang
Staff would like to make the various areas more responsive to the needs of the membership. To that end, we'd like to ask you folks for your opinion of how we can divide up the current Midwest area into smaller, City/State areas that would serve you better.

I could set this as a poll but we'd really like your input better than just a ratification of whatever regions I came up with for a poll.

So, please post your thoughts and I promise, we'll give all a good hearing and use them to make Eccie even more responsive to your needs and desires.

Lincoln is an area
ScottsBluff/SD area is another
Omaha/Metro area could be combined with Council Bluffs or kept seperate.

Its best to keep it to states in the Northern Midwest like ASPD had. The northern region was NE, IA, SD, ND, Idaho, CO and WY if I'm correct. I would also add MN and WI into it too, get more traffic.

Admin and owners are looking at it carefully. I just about gave up getting an answer and submitted my report and recommendations a few days ago. Not to late to express yourself lurkers - you know who you are. We're still listening.

I think seperating WI,IA,and Mn into one area would be great.

Michigan or even Metro Detroit would make a good area for reviews as there is a great deal of SC action here.

Thanks for the input. We'll be on it when the traffic gets a bit higher from that area.

Sad but true this area was starting to get a fair share of touring gals come through about a year ago and it almost would of made sense to divide up into even more sub sections but at the current moment in my IMAO no need .

On the other hand it does seem certain regions have there go to boards ,It would be nice to see ECCIE gain more ground in MPLS area ,TER still seems to be the board those that dwell in the land of 10.000 lakes like to lurk .

I have nothing against TER and have a acount there also ,I find there lay out way to different and even though i come from welch blood iam not a punter and i dont drive on the wrong side of the road so its a no brainer as to why i find it strange to my Iowaweigan ways .

In short if i was in the biz of gaining more traffic i would be trying to get a bigger foot print in MPLS for sure .
