Hi.

Where are you trying to download it from? If you search for '.net framework 2.0' on google, the first couple of pages listed are from Microsoft. I just checked and the links on those pages seem to be working.

A couple things to note about installing this:

1. Be sure to get the right version for your Windows OS
2. If you install 2.0, make sure to install the latest service pack as well (SP2 is the latest)
3. There is also a .NET Framework version 3.5 that you could install instead.

Best of luck to you,

Be really careful of any warnings that pop up a message that you need to install an upgrade to a program. Many malware programs will use such a message to try and get you to install malware.

.NET framework is a "legitimate" program, but that doesn't mean that some other program isn't masquerading as .NET framework. Be sure to download it from the real Microsoft web site.

Be sure your antivirus software is up to date and run a scan.

If you can download the .net Framework 2.0 redistributable package from another computer, you might be able to put the file on a USB thumb drive or something and transfer it to the first computer to install.
