Maybe not about changing the First Amendment, but the

be considoured "protected speech"??

Well that's what this whole thread is about, disagreeing with Israel and the genocide of Palestinians. It's ok to voice hate against Iran, Russia, Palestine or Ukraine but not Israel. Some how Israel deserves special consideration no matter what they do.

Hard to believe there isn't more political slander/libel cases. A lot of it hides behind opinion and not presented as factual.

Biggest example.

I'm guessing ever one of yall that don't understand are ok with disguised free speech turning into riots? It's a plan for instability.

Many times these groups stated positions to press do not remotely match what they holler thru their megaphones and their true intent.

MAGAS believe the Constitution was given to Moses on Mount Sinai and is perfect, despite its age and the fact that it has been changed numerous times.

They will never open their minds to this idea as long as they believe that their “rights” were God given.

I think the whole thing could stand a good refresh. The entire document and all amendments.

Sounds like a lot of these spoiled college kids have way too much free time between now and finals. Shouldn't those motherfuckers be studying for finals? Haha

We don't need a change in the Constitution. We need a change in leadership.

Well- I do think if you're told to disburse and don't have a permit with some timeframes associated to it, you're subject to removal. Including arrest and other possible charges as to resisting arrest, or violating statutes of assembly. Not saying you have to have a permit on public spaces, but the ability to limit the time duration might have a purpose so as to keep some sense of order and access to the public.

It's NOT only the protestors who have rights, but the rights of the public shouldn't be trampled by those trying to exercise their 1st amendment rights at everyone else's expense.

When you start to do things like block access or traffic or common spaces without any other options- sorry but you are being moved to a safe space- or arrested if you can't follow instructions. I'd even say that a timely amount / aka hour/ or HOURS should be allowed. But takeovers and all that shit-...sorry now you're using your rights to take away other ppls rights to access also.

Ever hear the phrase "endowed by their creator"?
And rights needs no quotation marks.

Agree with you here.
Protests don't need to be physically violent to not be peaceful.

This is pure ignorance and so clearly wrong that anything you write from this point forward is garbage.

The militia is: "The 'militia' was the entire adult male citizenry, who were not simply allowed to keep their own arms, but affirmatively required to do so.… With slight variations, the different colonies imposed a duty to keep arms and to muster occasionally for drill upon virtually every able-bodied white man between the age of majority and a designated cut-off age. Moreover, the duty to keep arms applied to every household, not just to those containing persons subject to militia service. Thus the over-aged and seamen, who were exempt from militia service, were required to keep arms for law enforcement and for the defense of their homes."

Thanks for playing....
