I MISS THE HOBBY - I WAS PRICED OUT OF THE GAME

I still cruise ECCIE and STG for nostalgic purposes now. The girls on the coast (even the not so attractive ones) have priced themselves beyond my means and I make significantly above the median income for the area.

I get that the cost of living has increased. We all feel that pinch. Inflation shot up like a rocket in the last three years. However, contrary to the absurd rhetoric from Washington, incomes have mostly stayed the same. A man with a job and bills to pay can afford approximately 8% LESS than he could afford three years ago because inflation increased but our monthly did not.

So a man can only afford no more than he could three years ago and many would say less. And what happened? Every provider on the coast wants 300 per hour, almost 100 more than a year ago. Simply can’t afford it and I am a man just over 50. Thirty minutes will not work for me. So I am out of the market. Out of the hobby and missing it. 200 per hour was a good rate for me. That’s still the rate (ironically) in larger more expensive cities like DC because of competition I suppose.

If a lawyer or doctor with 8 years of college and specialized skills only charges 200 an hour (sometimes less) someone performing a physical task that comes naturally to every mammal on the planet can not justifiably charge 300 an hour for it. Write ads any way you like but sex is not a specialized skill and pu$$y is not plated in gold and jewel encrusted. Just a fact.

Oh well. They wouldn’t charge that if a bunch of out of town visiting drunk casino gamblers were not willing to pay it.

Same here still a few affordable girls but some have doubled their prices. Can’t get anyone to stick together but a boycott of over priced providers would force a return to affordable but it is what it is..

A little tardy to the party but I'm in the same boat. It use to be some fine and thicc providers on the coast with decent rates who offered bbbj now the rates are doubled and tripled, cbj only. Hell the last provider I saw wouldn't let me suck a titty and I love me some large breast. Now we're getting less services at higher rates. I don't haggle, I fall back and keep my eyes open. I'll hop on the boards every now and then just to see what's up and go ghost again. Heck even the hotel prices are outrage. I don't like having providers at my place so I use to get a room on casino row for a night, not anymore.

Totally agree with what has been said above. I'm noticing more and more girls from Texas posting in Jackson. yep im feeling it too. there is a provider, whom i wont name, who i met and liked enough that i really wanted to hire her for a multi hour outing. i was really looking forward to it as soon as i got the time for it, but she has raised her rates twice so far since i saw her and will probably keep raising them. she also doenst offer much in the way of a multi hour discount, so i went from being very hopeful to despondent. i really wanted to see her too, but i cant justify spending that much on her now. used to be very reasonable rates, too. sucks being poor, my tip is never be poor if you can help it.

NEWS FLASH you can ask for a better rate. I never pay asking for anything even if I can afford it. I am not picking on you Vachon I know you dont haggle and I can respect that but I promise you all the women you pass on because you see the crazy high rate they post or initially quote, the vast majority would be happy to take your two bills for more than enough time that it takes to make you happy. Vachon your known in the hobby as a good trick. The ladies that vouch for you as far as I know say your a good guy. If you see a lady post she is visiting just message her letting her know that you can afford 200 and for them to contact one of your references so they can ask about you. Shit is starting to get real with inflation. My dollar isn't stretching as far as it did 1250 days ago of that there is no doubt. We can change that in about 210 days if we all do our civic duty and vote in the next election.
