It would be a waste to put Rubio on the ticket. He's one of the few in the Senate who appears to have some sense. But he is still a Republican, and that is reason for suspicion.

I'm sure Cain would serve the elitists, that's the only way to get elected, or stay alive in office. But he is fun to listen to.

Your theory of North-South race based voting is a reflection of your own bias and prejudices. The maps below suggest that liberal Dimocrap policies appeal primarily to those who reside in large-metropolitan centers; whereas, citizens living in less urbanized regions of this country appear to reject candidates who espouse those policies.
